i guess the 360 isn’t that bad but still

So I was reading the Pennies Arcade and they mentioned a site which makes previewing and finding Xbox Live content (downloadables and such) easy, here.

I realize now I’ve been disappointed by pretty much anything Microsoft has attempted to do so I shouldn’t be surprised that this does too.

Does it make it easier to find content? No.
Does it make it easier to find new content? No.
Does it make it have an RSS feed of any kind? No.
Does Microsoft understand the Internet? No.

Ugh. How annoying. Especially as something like that would easily draw sales by highlighting stuff people might be interested.

  1. My favorite is the use of all caps: XBOX LIVE PIPELINE

    I believe that’s covered in Internet 101.

  2. Not sure if we have met, too many Jims in the group, but I am the girl dating Dugan who now works for the “evil empire”, and I love it! 🙂 I constantly Google things at work and get the stink eye, then I point out how inferior Live.com still is. They have a LONG way to go, but luckily I have access to the product people and can give them feedback on it. Need me to pass anything along?

  3. Nah, I’ve already “passed on my feedback” to pretty much all my friends, almost all of which work at Microsoft. Just wait until the company meeting where you will get belittled by the MSN team for using Google.

I can’t use Live.com because it makes me insecure. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be pronounced with a hard or soft I and it makes me nervous.

Oh and the crappy results, too.

Nah, I just like to complain about Microsoft. It feels good. Ever since I quit I’ve become more and more intolerant of them.

They do offer good healthcare, though.
