definitly jack johnson….definitly…i definitly think so. or you could always venture into classical music, do they have that? if they have classical, ill give you some FANTSTIC things to listen to!

So it’s a subscription — the music has DRM (it’s WMV), but you can copy it to certain portable devices, listen to it on your computers, and you can choose between streaming it or actually downloading the files. You also get some pretty cool “radio” stations that are customized based off your preferences.

The negative is that if you cancel your subscription, any music you downloaded is no longer playable. But for $60 a year, that’s not a big deal to me, because I can listen to a lot of different music w/o plunking down the cash for cds.

well, i have to figure you already would have thought of most of the things suggested above, and were probably looking for suggestions of things you’ve never heard of before, since you’re clearly interested in expanding your music collection and have an unlimited music thingy. so, if i may suggest a few bands, based on what i know of your musical taste. they’re all very good pop rock that flies under the mainstream american radar: the new pornographers, the polyphonic spree, supergrass, the thrills, the unicorns, the shins, grandaddy, caviar. also, i don’t know how much radio you listen to now, but i absolutely love the new beck and white stripes that i’ve heard
